Dr. Roth is a licensed clinical psychologist and the owner/founder of Monarch Clinics. Alana creates a safe, comfortable environment while providing the highest standard of care and utilizing developmentally appropriate, research-based treatments.

Academic struggles can make a student feel frustrated and hopeless, and leave parents feeling helpless and directionless. Alana supports parents from the initial phone call until the testing results are provided to a student’s school, to ensure that parents have the understanding and confidence to advocate for their child effectively. When school difficulties are presented, Alana conducts psychoeducational testing to identify specific areas of abilities that contribute to a student’s academic functioning, including memory, language, processing speed, attention, executive skills. Additionally, intelligence (IQ) testing and achievement (reading, writing, math) testing are completed to understand the specific pattern of a student’s abilities that are contributing to his school performance.

Since 2009, Alana has conducted psychological/psychoeducational assessments to evaluate academic, intellectual, social, and emotional functioning. Alana enjoys partnering with parents to identify difficulties that are impairing daily functioning, such as ADHD, learning disorders, anxiety, depression and mood-related disorders.

In therapy, she specializes in treating children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, mood, and behavioral difficulties. While working with children, Dr. Roth emphasizes the importance of equipping families with tools to support their child. She also sees the importance of supporting teenagers as they navigate the many demands of adolescence including academic pressure, relationships, and identity development. Alana considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients through life’s struggles and observe the growth and transformation that they (and their families) experience.
